The Arts Council of Metropolitan Kansas City

The Arts Council's mission is to strengthen and enrich the community by growing appreciation, participation, and support of the arts.  We accomplish this by focusing on three strategies:

• Increasing funding for the arts and cultural initiatives from diversified and sustainable sources.
• Increasing awareness of the arts and culture and the impact on quality of life issues in our community.
• Establishing the arts as integral to economic development and other key civic and business initiatives.
